It might be chilly, but the goose is still a lot more comfortable in Arizona at this time of year rhan if the goose had stayed up north for the winter.

one thing my husband says he misses about living in the midwest is sound of the geese overhead flying south for the winter. Until he had said something, I never noticed!

Looks like this one is doing just fine.

Rather a pretty goose. Looks not unlike what we call "mucky ducks" in south Florida, though this one's colors are much nicer.

I've never understood how geese and ducks can stand to swim peacefully in that frigid water. There are days I'd like to have their internal heaters!
