IO've never been on this road but the Hana Highway in Maui is very windy; it caused my young grandson to become car sick. But, the drive was spectacular. How did you fare on this road?
I used to drive up from Clarkdale (many years ago) have a few beers at the Spirit Room, then drive like a madman back down the hill. Youth (and middle age) and beer are a dangerous combination. (Fun, though!)
It must be very similar to a carnival ride. ;))

ReplyDeleteI guess I wouldn't have thought of that as a scary drive. It must be to some people.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to have facts written in front of your eyes to realize certain things.
ReplyDeleteSounds a little scary...especially if there were a lot of "S" curves and drop-offs.
