Driving To Alaska....Anchorage


Spring in Anchorage in early June, the municipal building has flowers and trees in bloom. 


I thought this was a perfect mural for this city.

  4. That's one impressive building. Love the mural, too. And all the beautiful flowers are surprising. I always thought of Alaska as grey and drab!

  5. Man, has Anchorage changed since I lived there 74-80. Hard to believe UAA campus looks like that.

  8. Loved the burro photos from yesterday! Very appropriate mural. I have seen whales each time I cruised Alaska. One time they stopped the ship to view some Orcas passing by. So thrilling to see these magnificent animals in their environment!
