A dramatic sculpture stands in the middle of the small town of Reserve, New Mexico.
The man depicted is Elfego Baca, a lawman, who became famous after the "Frisco Shootout".

The sculpture is very dramatic and reminds me that it really was the wild west. Back in the 1950's when I was a kid I remember watching "The Nine Lives of Elfego Baca" on the Walt Disney TV show.
