This just made me laugh. Did you ever see those plastic, moving owls to scare away the pigeons?
I saw this on on top of a business and thought it was pretty funny. I think they like it.
Yes, I'd say they are not the least bit frightened by the owl. There is one on the roof of the building I live in. I'll have to watch to see if the pigeons join it for a little basking in the sun.
Funny! And yes, I have seen these owls. The assistance principal at my last school decided he was going to chase away all the pigeons and put owls around the perimeter of the roof. The next morning when I arrived a pigeon was sitting on the head of the owl!
This definitely proves pigeons are smarter than people. :)
