That's one of the best photos of a roadrunner that I"ve ever seen. Such funny birds, but very speedy, according to legend. And the movies. :)
Ah That is what the little blighter looks like
Lucky you! These birds are not easy to photograph and with a blue sky background! I was amazed when I saw one fly over the golf course what a large wingspan it had. I've been thrilled when I've had one in my backyard hunting lizards.
After so many trips to New Mexico, I still have to see a Roadrunner. I feel cheated after seeing your great photo of one.
