I seem to remember a Brownie as a child, but like Sharon, I thought it was smaller. I don't remember my parents ever taking pictures but there were several photos of me as a little girl, primarily at my sixth birthday party - the only one I ever had. Maybe they really didn't own a camera but perhaps borrowed one from time to time.
I am old enough to have seen a number of changes and trends in photographic, and I think we are SO fortunate to have the equipment that is available to us.
Our old Brownie was a lot smaller than this one.
ReplyDeleteYou mean there's a museum in Jerome now! That's wonderful! I had a Brownie! Great little cameras for the time.

My parents had one in a box. I have no idea what has become of it.
ReplyDeleteOh, shoot, I thought this was going to be a post about that fudgie little bar that we all (well, me anyway) know and love. :)
ReplyDeleteI had a Brownie camera or two also.
I have one of those!
ReplyDeleteSo many great photographers were trained with the Brownie.
