Too bad a blue jay's personality is not as attractive as its color.
Julie and I were not too far from you this weekend. We spent the weekend in Oak Creek just north of Sedona, and returned to Phoenix through Cottonwood. We did a hot air balloon ride that took us towards the Verde Valley as well.
I love these guys. They hang around both Flagstaff and Strawberry. They love peanuts. I would watch the squirrels hide their peanuts and then a jay would come along dig it up and eat it.
That should work.
ReplyDeleteDid you give him some peanuts?
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo..............I'm jealous!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful and sassy.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo but why do they always look (and sound) so angry?
ReplyDeleteAh, such a beauty. And such a great photo! You did good!
