Choppers


 I counted sixteen helicopters flying over my house on Saturday. There were 7 flying together in the first group and they were loud. Then came 5 and about an hour or so later 4 more, all going in the same direction.

    Red Cross choppers. Hope there was no big tragedy. One of these things makes enough noise; sixteen must have made you crazy. Nice shots, though. Did you ever find out what they were doing?

    The helicopter must be very close to the ground level for sure!

    At least two of these seem to be medical units with the red crosses on the side. Was there some sort of emergency in your area?

    hopefully it was just reservists or National Guard on a training mission.

    The appear to be medical helicopters and I'm guessing Dave is right and they were National Guard or reservists. Practice makes perfect and I would want them to be perfect if I ever needed them.

    We used to live near our county hospital helicopter pad and, my goodness! the racket they would make at all hours of the day & night.
