These look like Buddhist prayer flags.
There was a house near here that had these same prayer flags strung up on their front porch.
I'm glad to know what the flags are all about.
I don't know from Buddhist prayer flags but you could combine the colors in various ways to make flags from several nations. I see those glass things - for telephone wires, I think...
