Wickenburg Depot

The town of Wickenburg has set some scenes in the old part of town with statues that tell a story from the past. This one, at the old depot depicts a teacher just getting off the train to start a new job. The sculptures are painted bronze by world renowned artist J. Seward Johnson known for his life size realistic artwork.

  3. Kathy is right. A young woman from an Eastern city would be in for culture shock beginning a career in a place like Wichenburg 100 or more years ago.
