I did the first of many drives up the Alcan to Alaska in '73, I posted about it on my blog in March 2011. Quite a road back then, 1500 miles of dirt and gravel.

ReplyDeleteI've often thought of Alaska as a vast and sparsely-settled land filled with both beauty and danger and your photos reinforce that way of thinking!
