 The Grand Hotel in Jerome

The building started out as a hospital.

  2. A hospital? Really? Well, it looks like a great hotel today.

  3. I was in Jerome in the '80's but don't remember much. Whaat does that say about my memory; how could anyone forget a building like that?!

  4. Kate's comment about Jerome brought back memories. I moved to Arizona in the early 1970s and there were only a couple of businesses open in Jerome and only six full-time residents. I don't remember the hospital/hotel either and that's probably because during that time period it looked nothing like it does today. The renovations on this old almost ghost town are truly miraculous!

  5. I like the look of the place. I'm reading a travel book at the moment, and the Prescott and Jerome areas were covered in a section today.
