The Gap

This is the new area between the buildings in Prescott where the Bird Cage Saloon,  Bare Bones BBQ and the Food Store once stood before they burned down in the fire on May8, 2012. It's called Holiday Courtyard and will be used for special events. The structure in the background behind the stage is the parking garage.

    When I hear the word "Birdcage" I think of the hilarious movie with Robin Williams. This scene is much different than the one in the film!

    I've seen such areas in other a couple of towns here in Florida. I like a lot!

    This is probably a good place for events but, I fear it has left a gap in the "whiskey row" block.

    Leaving it as is might be a better touch than letting something be built there that doesn't belong. I like the space.
