Showy Flowers

I don't know what kind of flower this is but I see them around a lot. 

The flowers are huge and the leaves are bright and interesting.

    They look a it like squash blossoms. I'm commenting on your blog from the Eurostar while we are in the tunnel. How is that for coolant?
