Some birds got an early start on nesting. I think this is a Mockingbird. 

We have had a lot of activity in out backyard bird houses.

This pretty male oriole likes to hide in the lilac bush and wait for other birds to come to the hummingbird feeder and then jump out at them and scare them away.

I guess he thinks it belongs to him alone. Sure is fun to watch but I thwarted his attempts by adding
another feeder.

This is the beautiful Mother's Day card I received from my son and daughter-in-law.
What makes this more special is that my daughter-in-law makes these cards herself!!!
