Weekends
Downtown Prescott is busy most spring and summer weekends. This shot was taken during the art show last weekend.
And the little pug was ready for his close up.

Woofstock
Woofstock 2015 in Prescott Valley was last Saturday at the Civic Center and the new covered stage was put to use for the contests.
There was costume contests
And two of Prescott Valley's canine officers, Jake and Turco showed off their stuff
And I even caught a fellow blogger in a couple shots, quite by accident. That's him on the far right with his camera in hand and he accidently caught me in his video which you can see
at Oddball Observations along with a bunch of other great photos of furry friends at the event.

Open House
Yesterday was the annual open house at The Bronzesmith Fine Art Foundry and Gallery. Always an interesting place to visit.
The front courtyard is full of beautiful sculptures.
There were local artists on hand with some of their work on display.
In the photo to the left, artist Carl Wolf talks with a visitor.

The Traveling Vietnam Wall
We went to see the Traveling Vietnam Wall yesterday, a rainy, cool Thursday.
We were there just after they finished setting it up.
There were lots of people there already.
Channel 12 news was there doing interviews.
The wall will be there for four days.
I think most everyone around my age knows someone who's name is on that wall.

Polar Bear Splash
Fifteen hardy people jumped into the freezing water yesterday at the Prescott Valley swimming pool for the annual Polar Bear Splash. That's snow behind them. It was about 34 degrees Fahrenheit outside. (1.1C) The water temperature was 33F.
Gasps could be heard from the swimmers when they jumped in.
This guy had his own camera strapped on.
Meanwhile, kids had some fun with this big snowball slingshot.

Part of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's "Wings Out West" air show last Saturday at the Prescott airport, some fancy flying and parachuting was fun to watch but not that easy to photograph.

It's A Dog Day lll
Sunday at Woofstock 2014 there was lots of dogs playing at the Prescott Valley Civic Center.
These two young Afghan Hounds were excited to be there.
And one of my favorites,
a Papillon, also known as a
Continental Toy Spaniel, was
happy and very friendly.
