The Streets Of Williams

The reason I like Williams Arizona is because there is always something unusual to see. Like these cowboys riding down one of the main streets and stopping at the stop sign. (There are no traffic lights in the town of Williams)

A very unusual sight, I agree. But great as well :)

The contrast between the cowboys on their horses and the pick-up truck is a bit amusing. In downtown St. Paul when the police on horses arrive, it creates quite a stir.

What a wonderful thing to come across. Good thing you had your camera ready.

Funny - esp. with all the cars and trucks. Wonder what they were doing in town on horseback...Looks kinda like they escaped from an old western movie set!

I never realized there was no traffic lights in Williams!
I can't imagine horseback riders in Toulouse! :-)

I hadn't realized the "no traffic lights" in Williams either but I think the last time I was there I ran a stop sign while gaping at the sights.

The only time you see horses and riders here are if the Mounties are taking part in a ceremony. I like these shots!

When I lived in Flagstaff back in the '70s there was absolutely nothing to do in Williams. The town looked like it was dying. I'm so glad to see that it's had a revitalization and by seeing your pictures it makes me want to visit when I return!
