Turtles

The turtles are starting to show up on the rocks around the ponds and lakes to soak up the spring sunshine.

Sometimes a spot gets crowded.

And sometimes one gets high centered.

    WE have so many turtles/terrapins around here after all these rains I'm constantly dodging them on the country roads. Cute little boogers!

    That is bi group of turtles. I think that one in the last photo has the perfect spot. Cool on one side, warm on the other.

    Turtles are fun creatures...I think I like them 'cause they're so harmless and lend an air of funkyness to our lives. In that last photo it looks a bit like the turtle is riding a good-sized fish!
