Troupe Salamat

This talented troupe of belly dancers drew a huge crowd at the courthouse on Saturday. An improvisational Tribal belly dance troupe, wowed the crowd with their graceful and fluid moves and beautiful costumes.

While looking at the fancy cars parked by the courthouse we were lured in by the exotic music and found this lovely scene.

A close up of Azra, one of the dancers.

Check out their web page HERE.

Prescott is more cosmopolitan than I would have imagined.

The juxtaposition of styles and cultures (the statue and the dancers) is quite an eye-catcher.

Beautiful ladies and beautiful costumes.

From what I've heard, belly dancing is not easy to master. Those colorful costumes alone would have caught my attention.

I also wanted to mention that you were one person who really understood that sign on Ocala today. There are so many crazy people out and about I'd want them far away from my horses. Plus the whole liability thing if a horse should nip someone!

That would have been fun to watch.

An excellent way to reinforce tummy muscles! So much fun to look at and so much admiration for such a danse.

What fun! Love the big tattoo on the one dancer's belly!
