A Walk In The Park

Early December

Odd Duck

I saw this unusual looking duck at the park and a fellow hiker told me it was called an Indian Runner. I'd never seen one before so I looked it up.
Wikipedia said this:
Indian Runners are an unusual breed of Anas platyrhynchos domesticus, the domestic duck. They stand erect like penguins and, rather than waddling, they run.

Chileen's On 17

If you are a fan of the TV show 'Bar Rescue' you might recognize the name of this place in Black Canyon City. It's a rustic looking place.  The food is good and the staff is friendly. I took this shot out the window while having lunch there.

Way Down The Trail

These buildings can be seen looking into the Grand Canyon from the South Rim Trail. if you have some binoculars.

 Or a zoom lens.
I didn't see that person walking in the center of the frame until I uploaded the pictures.

Enjoying The View

I waited a good fifteen minutes for the person casting that shadow to leave so that I could get this shot with the canyon in the background, but she was so enamored by the cowboy that she just stayed there admiring him. So I took my shot and went on my way.
