Elk

Near The Grand Canyon I spotted a small herd of elk while I was out hiking.
They noticed me but I didn't try to get too close so they didn't run away and just went on grazing.

Mistletoe

Mistletoe is the common name for the Obligate Hemiparasitic plants which attach themselves to a tree or shrub and feed off of the host plant. If it gets big enough it can kill the tree. Therefore mistletoe is a parasitic plant.

This bunch of mistletoe is growing in a small tree at Lynx Lake. The tree doesn't look like it's doing well.

Baby Burro

The baby burros that wander the streets of Oatman wear a sticker on their heads warning the tourists not to feed these little ones who are still nursing.

My Bicycle

This is one of my bicycles parked by the Prescott Valley City Hall and Library.  This is the one I use when I'm going to take a long ride on the hills around here. It has a peddle assist electric motor.
