The Catalyst Infoshop

Another old house on McCormick Street being used as a business is the "Catalyst Infoshop".
I've never been in this place but a quick web search gave me this info:
The Catalyst Infoshop is a volunteer-run book store and activist center.

I also found out that it was founded by environmental activists. The place was closed when I went by.

Beauty In The Garden

Before a recent concert at the performance hall at Yavapai College, some of the members of the orchestra were having their pictures taken in the sculpture garden. This young lady was kind enough to let me take her picture. She certainly added to the beauty of that sculpture.

The grounds of the Sharlot Hall Museum are a beautiful and peaceful place to spend some quiet moments with nature, right in the center of town.

I don't have a picture of a turkey but since it is Thanksgiving Day here, I give you "Guy Smiley", my sister Pam's funky chicken. I'm sure he is quite happy that he will never be the "guest of honor" at a Thanksgiving Day feast.

Just one of the many old ranches in the Prescott area, this one looks like it is still working. The town is closing in on it though.

We have a lot of this kind of bird in our yard. They stay in our area all year so we have to thaw out the water when it freezes over night so they can get a drink in the morning.
