We don't have much of a winter here but we have had a recent boom in our squirrel population. They are very irritating to my mother whose main activity in life these days is to watch the birds around her feeders and it seems the squirrels get more of the food than the birds do. We've managed to trap three and relocate them to a different area of the woods in hopes they will meet up with some new friends, but there is still an abundance who live in our big oak tree. I frankly think they are quite entertaining to watch.

Such a precious moment. Love how the little guy carries his food.

Yup…time to stock up on food items.

Yes this little guy is a good indication that winter isn't far behind.
How wise!
Oh, the squirrels certainly have been busy around my neighbourhood too. ;)
The squirrels on Steve's post today on "VISITORS" are getting some competition from a German woodpecker!
Kathy is right; they're pesky and bothersome little creatures!
