Driving To Alaska....On The Way To Anchorage

Just north of Homer, we stopped at a State Park where there was a family of eagles teaching their young about fishing.

They put on quite a show grabbing fish from each other while flying high above us. I guess they are encouraged to play with their food.

This little Russian Orthodox church is in Kenai, Alaska close to the Cook Inlet.

You got yourself some real nice photos of the eagles in flight.

Kudos to you. It ain't easy to get good clear shots of birds in the air. Those feeding/fishing sessions sound like a lot of fun and I'll bet not too many folks have had opportunity to see such.

Re the church. Cute. Maybe it's this Russian church that the ex-gov of Alaska saw from her house? :)

Watching those eagles had to be awesome. I do enjoy watching all kinds of animals and birds teach their young. I noticed when I see the quail with young how the male stands guard while momma teaches the kids how for forage for food.

I love that little church!

Birds in flight are among the most difficult photographic subjects. Very well done.
