Climbing That Mountain

There is a new trail that goes up to the top of Glassford Hill in Prescott Valley. It opened in May and I hiked to the top early one morning shortly after it was completed. Just me and my shadow.
This is what the trail looks like from close to the top. That's Prescott Valley there in the top right of the picture.  More from the hike tomorrow.

I'm always impressed that you can do that climbing. I can walk and walk and walk but the climbing part gets me winded every time.

Kudos to you! That's amazing. I'm afraid my days of hiking trails like this are over. I can make it all the way to the fridge, though! :) Love that shot of the valley.

I am impressed; it doesn't look like an easy hike.

I've always wanted to hike up there, wasn't sure of the ownership, as I respect private property. It's great that a trail is there now.

It's sounds like a pretty serious hike. At least you don't have to wait for anyone and go your own pace.
