Photographing All Of Yavapai County In Central Arizona And Beyond
The covered wagon certainly is historical icon of the "Wild West" and the migration of Americans, hoping for a better life.
When I taught American history, we covered covered wagons and the Oregon Trail and all that was part of that! Covered wagons were extremely uncomfortable, offered little respite from the weather, were often breaking down, and were quite slow...but they got the job done - moving people west, 20 miles a day on a good day. I'm not sure I would have been in the group if I'd lived back then. 😎
Everything about the wagon looks original except that drivers seat.
Very old fashioned.
