The View From Above
I took this picture some time ago but I really like it. This is taken from up on Thumb Butte looking over the city. See that guy up there on top of the rocks. I didn't go up there.
It's a wonderful panorama! Love the snow-covered mountains in the background. Are they, perchance, the Sangres? Not to worry re the guy on the top. You couldn't get me up there for any reason!
My legs no longer would allow me to even attempt the Thumb Butte trail. I hiked what I thought was a long distance up Granite Mountain a few years ago but discovered I had barely scratched the surface.

That guy had to do some rock climbing to get up there.

Amazing view. I wouldn't mind having a go at getting up on that perch.
