Alien Brain?

Or giant mushroom?
While taking a hike in the country with friends in Colorado, they showed us these giant mushrooms. They were bigger than any I had ever seen. I don't know what kind of mushroom it is so we didn't bring them home for lunch.

Round Up

Rounding up the herd to separate the cows from their calves can be a noisy business. While visiting friends on a Colorado cattle ranch we watched as the herd made its way to the holding pens where the calves were loaded into trailers and hauled away. Then the cows were turned back out into the pasture.

 A cow will call for her calf for days after they are separated.

This breed of cattle originated in France and is called Limousine.
