Dave, It was built as a hospital which explains the size but it does make a 'Grand Hotel'.
Magpie, Yes, you are right, it is on the haunted list. If you haven't been there, you should plan on going around Halloween. They go all out on the decorations and it's a riot. Bring your camera.
Tracy, You should. The food is great and so is the service.

That's a lovely building! I haven't had lunch yet so my mouth is watering now! :-)
I love this place! When can we go again?
I certainly expected something different when I read your caption. I, too, would like to see the inside of this grand building.
A hotel building this size is a monument to the fact that Jerome used to be a much larger place than it is today.
It is one of the haunted buildings in Jerome isn't it? Looks very grand! Oh, and I'll have seconds on that slice of heaven.
An incredibly beautiful building and your photo is perfection!
As far as that food, I'm afraid I'd have to walk on the other side of the street so as not to be tempted. It looks way too good!
I've never eaten there, but seeing your photos makes me think I should.
Sharon, we can go, whenever you want.

Was the building an asylum before, or is that the name of the café? Whatever, those sweets would make anyone go crazy!
The old hotels have so much charm and are nothing like today's. How strange that we think life is getting better and better. Hmmm.
Looks like a great place to be and to eat! Yummy!:)
