One year ago today, a handfull of bloggers met up at a park in Prescott for a pleasant gab session. This is a picture that I took at the Park that day. The meet up was arranged, as usual by Granny J (Julie) of Walking Prescott. It was the last time we had a gathering. Julie's 'dotter', OmegaMom and 'granddotter' were visiting from Alaska and we all had a nice time talking and laughing. Sadly, while my husband and I were away in May, Julie passed away. Julie is the lady with the white hair at the far table in this picture. We will miss her and her blog.

Lovely tibute!
That is sad news. I'm so glad you are paying her this tribute.
Thanks for posting this. Julie was a force in the local blogging community and she is missed.
That's me wearing the hat sitting next to Julie.
First, I think its really cool that all of you got together, maybe we flatlanders need to try that someday (hint). Secondly, I am so sorry to hear about Julie's passing. It must be like losing a family member. It's nice of you to remember her like this.
As I said to Julie many times, she taught me to look at things with a different perspective. I owe a lot about the photos that I take to Julie.Having a conversation with her was always interesting too. What a sharp amazing woman she was.
It's great that you all get together like this. What a nice tribute too.
Lovely tribute to an obviously lovely person.
I have always regretted missing that gathering. And I certainly do miss Granny J.
Looks like a good crew! I bet I could organize one here in the Twin Cities, too. Sorry you folks lost one of the bloggers!
Judy--Thank you for posting this. For a very private person, she was extremely outgoing and social. She loved the blogging get-togethers!
