Theme Day....Graffiti

What lies beneath the streets of Prescott.

I saw pictures of this place on Tombo's Blog back in February of 2008, so when I saw what the theme was for October, I decided to find it myself. The entrance was kind of scary looking and I knew the graffiti was far back in the drainage tunnel under the street and I wasn't sure if I wanted to go in there but I noticed a Sheriff's deputy in a parking lot and went over and asked him if he thought it would be safe for me to go in there for some pictures. He decided to go with me and I was glad that he did. Thank you Deputy Anderson and thank you Tom for finding it first and giving a clue as to where it is.

I normally don't like graffiti, but I love how whoever made this incorporated the tunnels in the design!

That would be scary to enter alone. Fantastic find!

You are very brave for going underground for the photo. That takes dedication!

You thanked Tom for finding it first. But from the amount of graffiti, obviously a lot of others have found it before Tom.

I wish all graffiti was as hard to find as this.

What a great adventure, Judy! :-) Glad you did it, the effect on the tunnels is fantastic, they seem to be longer than they really are.

Good grief...what an underground horror! I don't blame you for seeking reassurance re the safety in that mess...and what a nice deputy to help you out...lots of places that would not have been the case.

You have certainly come up with one of the most dramatic and colorful theme-day shots!

Have a great weekend!

Now that took alot of work. I like the way they incorporated the drain openings.
