Creekside Preserve Lodge & Cabins

Just east of Mayer, Arizona is the Creekside Lodge. There are cabins along the creek which I will show tomorrow. There is also a restaurant in this main building.

Looks very nice and reminds me of similar buildings alongside the Arkansas River in Colorado.

They are obviously proud of the giant pine trees that are not what you expect to see in Arizona outside of the forests around Flagstaff and the Rim country.

I played vintage base ball in Mayer last Saturday. Did you go by the Teapot house? It was near the city park, a great photo op. We didn't see this place when looking for food, ended up eating at the 50's Diner,

I have a question: how to you pronounce "creek?" Crick or creek, with a long "e"??
