Changing Seasons

When I was young, I didn't pay much attention to the changing seasons. While balancing work and kids and keeping up with the house, there wasn't much time for seasons. Now that I am older and have less to occupy  myself, the changing of the seasons intrigues me. In the mornings I watch to see just where the sun will rise through my east facing windows and I know exactly where it will rise on the morning of the equinox. It's right about that time when less subtle changes start to occur, like the blooming of all the flowering trees in the Spring. Only a few days ago there was snow and frost clinging to the trees. But this tree is white with flowers and sweet fragrance is filling the evening air. This is Spring.

That's absolutely gorgeous. A fruit tree of some kind? We like Ocala as we do get a change of seasons to some extent. Not so in south Florida.

And I do believe your sister had a pear tree on her blog yesterday! Spring is just busting out all over. I went to the azalea garden in Nacogdoches yesterday.

This tree would be a good subject for the change in seasons.

Something so beautiful would not have been able to withstand the winds we had today. Lovely tree.

The tree is beautifully shaped and the white against the sky is very striking.

Beautiful. Oh I so long to see Spring at my door. So far today more snow and yesterday was mud, mud.
