My father said there was a lot of gold in the creek below this house, that he called the castle. He ran the dragline on the lower stretch of Big Bug Creek.
I love that view out into the valley.
That is a wonderful panorama. What a vista! It reminds me a little of certain areas in Colorado.Sharon mentioned your family trip to Silver Springs. I'd guess it's changed somewhat since you were there, but not much. More changes coming, though.
