When I see lilly pad I always recall the beautiful Monet gardens in Givenchy. Your pond is a bit smaller, but very charming.

This is amazing to me. After all that fire and destruction and horrible loss of life, these water lilies are not only alive but thriving.

It's very pretty. Haven't seen one for a long time. Well, that doesn't count my aunt, Lily, who was swimming in a pool last summer. :)

I showed a close photo of a water lilly in an art exhibition, and an lady bought the photo because her late son's favorite place was a park with water lilies. Now, that is what I think of when I see photos of water lillies.
