This is a pet peeve of mine. Cities should require that parking garages have street level, pedestrian retail. Otherwise, they are ugly barriers that detract from the synergy of downtowns because there are no pedestrian amenities. They are ugly and useless to walk by and discourage people from walking to shops and restaurants on the other side of the garage.

It looks like they did some landscaping a long here to make it more attractive but they haven't maintained it.
Necessary paths to make new discoveries.
I like when they use river rock in landscaping.
