Driving To Alaska...Carcross

Another weekend means more pictures from our road trip to Alaska. Driving south from Whitehorse we took the Klondike Highway to the little town of Carcross. The picture above is of the White Pass Railroad

I love photographing the small churches. I feel more comfortable around them over the big Cathedral Churches.

Goodness, these photos look like they could have been taken a 100 years ago! Charming. "St. Savior" is certainly a strange name, though.

Perhaps living in somewhat rural Arizona prepared you for traveling the distances that must have been involved in your trip to Alaska.

What a tiny little church that is. I love the train station. I wonder it those are visitors standing there or are they waiting for the train.
