Hopi House




One of my favorite buildings at the Grand Canyon is the Hope House. It was built in 1905 and designed by architect, Mary Colter.

That is very cool. It got me to thinking, though. Not so good for old folks...all those ladders. I don't like going up and down steps! :)

A wonderful house so close to the natural elements. But the one I prefer is still La Posada.

Yep, Sharon was right! :)

I can't imagine coming face to face with a grizzly. I would have probably turned to stone on the spot!
