Way Down The Trail

Enjoying The View



I waited a good fifteen minutes for the person casting that shadow to leave so that I could get this shot with the canyon in the background, but she was so enamored by the cowboy that she just stayed there admiring him. So I took my shot and went on my way.

Colter Hall

Completed in 1937, Colter Hall was designed by Mary Colter and built as the women's dormitory for park employees. The natural beauty of the native stone building is a striking example of her work.
