Museum Piece

Gargoyle
Douglas Mansion Museum/State Park

Always good advice and interesting that they needed a sign like that back in the old days of Jerome.

I can't believe that people in certain areas of Texas still spit on the ground in the public and on the streets and sidewalks. It's disgusting! Love that gargoyle. Have you ever seen the gargoyles on one side of the Catholic church in Flagstaff? If you like these mythical creatures it's worth a short trip to see them.

I remember the gargoyles from Notre Dame in Paris...Lois Anne climbed those godawful steps and got some great pics. Had never seen or noticed them anywhere before.

I still see people spit in the street sometimes and find it nauseating. Runners are the worst offenders. Ugh.

Two excellent takes!
The sign could also be shortened into:
"Do not spit". :-))

My first thought was the Notre Dame church in Paris. Frightening creatures, aren't they?
