Grazing Horses

I love to see scenes like this one and was lucky to be able to pull over and get a shot even if it was a long way off.

Grazing In The Grass

 Grazing in the grass.
It's also the name of an old song by The Friends Of Distinction.
Can you dig it?

The Cowboys

Before the Grand Canyon Train leaves Williams there is a little old west show behind the station.

Check back tomorrow for the close up.

Horses

I haven't shown any horses for a few days so here are two of them.
Tomorrow I'll show you the cowboys that go with them.

The Streets Of Williams

The reason I like Williams Arizona is because there is always something unusual to see. Like these cowboys riding down one of the main streets and stopping at the stop sign. (There are no traffic lights in the town of Williams)

This is one of our daughter's horses. He's a friendly guy.

Throwback Thursday

Borrowing the title from a blogging friend, Catalyst, over at Oddball Observations , this picture is from the early 1980's.
Me and my horses heading back to the corral in Prescott Valley.

These days, the horses are gone and so is the corral. The landscape was changed to accommodate the town swimming pool.

His nose is wet because he was playing in the water.

Fighting The Bit

This horse was in a rush to get somewhere and wasn't happy to be halted on the way.

On My Way

I couldn't resist getting a picture of this pretty horse in her trailer heading somewhere with her delicate pink halter on.
