Grazing Horses

I love to see scenes like this one and was lucky to be able to pull over and get a shot even if it was a long way off.

You Lookin' At Me?

Not too happy about having his picture taken, he walked away at first but turned to face me with a threatening look.

Horse Ranch

I have driven by this ranch many times and I think it is a beautiful place. The last time I was out that way I stopped to take the picture of the gates and I could just barely see this person with a horse way back by the white tank in the first picture. I used my telephoto lens to see if I could get them.

Del Rio Springs #3

This old barn has been here for many years. It was there 56 years ago when my husband worked on that ranch. At that time the Santa Fe Railroad owned the ranch and Grand Canyon's Fred Harvey leased the ranch from them to raise cattle for his “Harvey Houses” and the Grand Canyon mules were wintered there.
