For all of the resentment of the federal government that seems to be common in rural America, people are perhaps overlooking the fact that it was the Rural Electrification Administration -- a federal New Deal program -- that brought electricity to many parts of rural America. A very fine composition, Judy! Where would we be if we weren't "wired"?Re Dave's comment: This is so true. I've talked to people who rant against the federal government while at the same time they are receiving Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Veteran's Administration assistance, and all the many other "gifts" of government of which we take advantage every day. Strange!

I;m jealous of that gorgeous blue sky!
