Wisteria?

I was surprised to see this tree while out for a walk. I didn't know that wisteria could live here, if that is what it is.
Update...I did a google search and I think this might be a Golden Chain Tree.

Miller Valley School

Miller Valley School had it's last day last week and will now close due to budget cuts, along with Washington School. My husband went to Miller Valley Elementary School many years ago. Judging from the date over the door, it would have been one hundred years old next year.

Peek-A-Boo

 He has a pouty face so he might look perturbed but when I put my hat on his head and pointed the camera at him, he started wagging his tail like crazy. He loves to have his picture taken.

Buffalo Dancers

At the Smoki Museum over the weekend, dancers from the Acoma Pueblo performed The Buffalo Dance while artists from the Santa Domingo Pueblo displayed their beautiful crafts.

At the Courthouse, the 41st annual Phippen museum western art show.

Open House

Yesterday was the annual open house at The Bronzesmith Fine Art Foundry and Gallery. Always an interesting place to visit.

   The front courtyard is full of beautiful sculptures. 

There were local artists on hand with some of their work on display.
