Super Moon
I decided to try shooting that big super moon on Saturday night to practice for Sunday. I'm glad I did because it was too cloudy on Sunday so these are all I was able to take. The bottom one is with my 42X lens fully extended.
You know Dave, I've tried several times to do a moon shot with that 42x lens and I haven't been able to get it to focus properly. These are great shots.
Super neat. The next super Moon will be in August 2014. Over here the sky was crowed with clouds that it was impossible to catch the moon even with our own eyes!

Excellent. Julie and I took some photos of it as well, but not with a ridge line in the foreground. Well done.
You mention a 42X zoom. You must have the same camera as Sharon, which she bought after seeing my camera.
I'm jealous. The bottom one, especially, is superb! It was too overcast here to get any shots at all!

I mean....."You know Judy". My mind was moving ahead to the next blog. Sorry about that.
You got a great shot with the lens fully extended. Now I wish I'd taken the time to try getting a shot like that!

Excellent shots.
Great moon shots, Judy!
Wow - Nicely done!
