The Rolling Hotel
It says "Rotel Tours" and "Das Rollende Hotel" on the side of this big bus. Have you ever seen one? I have seen them before but I found this one in Capital Reef National Park. The crew were busy setting up a picnic for the tourists who were out enjoying a beautiful spring day. This is a German tour company that takes tourists all over the world and gives them a camping experience. The front part of the bus has rows of comfy seats and the back part is where the people sleep. I found this article about it if you want to learn more.

I had never heard of this concept. I think the operative words of the write-up in your link were the description of this mode of travel being "relative comfort." Relative to camping, I guess.
I've seen these in Europe but never here. How interesting.
Nope, never seen one. Can't imagine. If I want to go camping I sure don't want to do it with a bunch of strangers!
Interesting concept, though. And I guess it would be camping without the "roughing" part. :)
Hi Judy...I think I should have clarified my comment on Ocala. We can't have pari mutuel racing in central Florida, but this venue is used for training and for thoroughbred sales. :)
The sleeping quarters look a wee bit cramped. Also the rig looks top-heavy to me. I hope their drivers are safe and experienced.
Sounds like a great idea, never new about this.
Wow, that would be some ride.
