This beauty was my favorite of all the VW club vehicles that I saw that day. I knew it was a rare model but when I Googled it, I found one like it that sold for a shocking 99 thousand dollars. This one looked like new and even had a sun roof that I didn't notice until I looked at the picture below that I took as it was leaving.

Volkswagen Invasion

The Volkswagen club stopped in Prescott Valley on their way to Jerome for the weekend.  There were all types, some old, some not so old. My favorite was a rare one that I've never seen before. I will show it tomorrow.

Big Easy On My Mind

A little old house looks like it's a bar now, on McCormick Street in Prescott. 

Floating

I saw this little butterfly floating in the crystal clear water of a lake. I saw it struggling when  I took this picture so I got a stick and fished it out and laid it on a log to dry out so that it could fly another day.

Let's Play

A favorite toy is three socks braided together with wide elastic headbands on each end. You can tuck small treats in the braid for extra chewy fun. Easy to make and easy to replace when it gets too chewed up. He's four years old today!

When my sister, Sharon from Phoenix visited for a shopping day, we found out that the little boutique called Tickled Pink is still in business. They just moved into a smaller space next door and were waiting for the sign to be moved.

'The Frame and I' in downtown Prescott does beautiful picture framing and always has an attractive window display to admire as you walk by.

Make A Wish

When I was a young girl, I would make a wish and try to blow all of the seeds off.  If I wished to have a lot more dandelions popping up, it would come true.

Flying Camera

I saw this thing flying around and looking very alien, so when I saw it land I asked the guy flying it what it was. He said it's a remote control camera. You could get some interesting shots with one of these. And sneaky too.
