Old Clarkdale High School

Now the Copper Museum, this building was once the high school in Clarkdale, Arizona.
This is the building with the window that I posted yesterday.

Houghton-Hancock Michigan in the Upper Peninsula used to have many copper mines. I doubt that they have a museum as grand as this to acknowledge its history.

I can picture this as a high school but, it makes a good museum too.

Who would think. Sure looks like an old high school. But I'm also sure it serves well as a museum. Maybe they would feature some of your photos?

A museum is a great re-use of a school building.

That's a majestic building.

I wish more schools looked like this today. I suppose that building costs are so astronomical that our school districts are forced into modular units.
