Historic Hotel

We found this great historic hotel on our trip last August. It sits on the banks of the Missouri River. The window I posted yesterday is the one on the ground floor on the left.

It's classic. The new hotels don't look like this any more.

stunning looking building, I thought it was a painting at first.

This looks like a big hotel for a small town, especially considering its age.

As I look at this, I can picture what it used to look like when Fort Benton was a small western town...I wonder if it's been used in any western movies? Gorgeous structure!

It would be worth the trip just to stay there.

I love the architecture from the 1880s. It's what I keep my eyes peeled for as I drive up and down the roads in Texas' small towns.
